Synergy and Nanotechnology

You already know that the synergy of active ingredients is one of the differentials of Sinevie products, but what truly makes our eyes shine is NANOTECHNOLOGY!
In the video about natural active ingredients, I explained that the synergy of active ingredients enhances their action by combining them, whether for brightening, antioxidant, and moisturizing effects, or all at once!

NANO active ingredients are very small particles that offer advantages over traditional ones in certain cases, whether by penetrating skin layers, stabilizing molecules, or preventing skin irritation.
Scientifically, a nanocosmectic is a formulation containing nanostructured active ingredients or components, offering superior performance compared to conventional products.

In the 90s, several world-renowned brands, such as Lancôme, Dior, and Chanel, began investing in research to develop nanotechnology-based products.
Research from Unicamp's School of Chemical Engineering highlights the focus on differentiated dermocosmetics, such as nanocosmectics, which offer more effective action against aging, for example.

This is due to the ability of smaller particles to penetrate deeper into the skin without the risk of reaching the bloodstream. In contrast, larger molecules remain only on the surface, providing a purely cosmetic effect and protection against water loss.
All Sinevie cosmetics contain nanotechnological active ingredients.

The first is Nanomelaleuca. We know that pure tea tree essential oil has a very strong characteristic odor and can be irritating to the skin, even in small doses. However, it has anti-inflammatory and drying action for acne.

Thus, in the Skin Control Serum, we use Nanomelaleuca, an active ingredient encapsulated in lipid particles with a diameter greater than 200nm, which allows the active ingredient to be stabilized, preventing oxidation and the release of unpleasant odors, and does not cause dermal irritation, so it can be used daily to control oiliness and reduce acne.

The other NANO technology combines hyaluronic acid and vegan collagen for topical use, used in the Lumina Skin Serum, which, combined with a blend of antioxidant, brightening, and energizing active ingredients, prevents skin aging. Also used in the Lip & Eyes vegan balm.

The third nano-active ingredient is NANO CALMING, present in the Sinergy Cleansing Foam, Sinevie's cleansing foam, also widely used as a makeup remover. Besides being clean beauty due to its natural active ingredients and being sulfate-free, we wanted a healthy product that would cleanse the skin well, but keep it hydrated with anti-inflammatory properties.
This nano-active ingredient, which combines alpha-bisabolol and chamomile extract, is easily dispersed in aqueous vehicles and bases, allowing for products with a pleasant and non-greasy feel.

And you've noticed the advantages of nanotechnology in cosmetic production, as it involves both protecting ingredients from degradation, controlling the release of active ingredients, especially irritants, and prolonging their residence time in the stratum corneum. Nano products offer better absorption, prolonged action, and a lighter feel.

Just as we believe that clean beauty cosmetics will be increasingly present in skincare routines, considering human and planetary health, we also note that nanocosmectics enhance skin results and will be increasingly valued for their benefits.
